We Make It Easy for You to Simulate the Real World
WAVEFRONT MODELING AND SIMULATION
CAST-CRPA systems provide you with a dynamic coherent RF “Wavefront” of GNSS and Interference signals for use in testing and integration of phased-array antenna systems.
Precise, Coherent, And Repeatable GNSS RF Signal Wavefront
Testing controlled reception pattern antennas (CRPA) in a laboratory environment is a complex task. The CAST-CRPA Simulation System makes your job easier by providing you a precise, coherent, and repeatable GNSS RF signal wavefront. It generates a complete set of RF signals for each antenna element, referenced to the phase center of the antenna manifold, while also enabling you to add interference and IMU signals that can stimulate EGIs and many kinds of modernized navigation devices.
This system is an ideal choice whenever you need to provide stimulation from a phased-array antenna system to test a military or commercial device or to verify that the integration of new components is working properly.
Our proprietary synchronization technology controls the CAST-CRPA system’s capability to add interference by combining interference and GNSS signals and outputting them as a composite signal for each individual element. The GNSS and interference signals for each antenna element are spatially offset and phase coherent with each other, to reflect real life phase differences in the signal reception at the phase center of each antenna element.
Multi-Frequency, Multi-Constellation GNSS
The CAST-CRPA Simulation System generates GNSS and interference waveforms for each one of the CRPA antenna elements. This ensures the coherent and proper arrival of the GNSS and interference waveform for each CRPA antenna element with respect to the navigation point of the antenna manifold.
CAST simulators are powered by proprietary multi-frequency, multi-constellation GNSS and interference signal generation technology. They provide coherent, highly accurate, and fully programmable signals and advanced vehicle trajectory capabilities, allowing custom tailoring of parameters and trajectories to meet your specific simulation requirements. The CAST-CRPA simulators can be configured to deliver a full constellation of GNSS satellites, with up to 16 satellites in view per GNSS satellite constellation signal type and composite signal RF output element.

CRPA System Features
Intuitive GUI
Our comprehensive and intuitive graphical user interface enables you to select a wide variety of vehicle types, simulating both static and dynamic motion profiles, including airborne, terrestrial, aquatic (including sea state), or space-based orbital vehicles to meet your unique simulation requirements. The advanced GUI features the ability to generate a trajectory by defining a scenario profile, or by defining the vehicle type and the constellation parameters to provide real-time 6-DOF trajectories via an external interface. The system can also generate a motion profile from previously recorded data collected from an external source.
CAST-CRPA systems also enable you to specify and customize the scenario date and time, location, almanac, ephemeris, atmospheric delays, multipath, spoofing, RF output power levels, antenna gain pattern, vehicle silhouette, data and health flags, and many other parameters.
